Cincinnati Nature CenterMurphyCatton was engaged by the Cincinnati Nature Center to fabricate the new Thayer Bird Viewing Exhibit. There were serveral interactive elements engineered and fabricated that teach the visitor about the world of birds. Starting with a simulated rich animal environment filled with interactive stations, identification graphics were created to assist the visitors in recognizing local species of birds and animals. A major goal for MurphyCatton was to design and fabricate the exhibit elements to blend seamlessly into the existing facility. We used techniques to turn new lumber into weathered barn beams which allowed us to incorporate the interactive learning elements into the structures. |
