Dating back to 1983, the first steps were taken towards the establishment of MurphyCatton, Inc. Starting small, but dreaming large, MurphyCatton's two principals founded MurphyCatton, Inc. with hardly anything: a two-car garage, one client, and a driving spirit that led them to become a multi-million dollar company today. With the two partners graduating from Northern Kentucky University and blending their backgrounds, Mike Murphy and Mark Catton cultivated an inspirational beginning to a world-class fabrication company. Mike's expertise in traditional cabinet making and Mark's experience in theatre and opera companies combined together to form a company with a strong focus on both quality craftsmanship and the artistic, theatrical and dynamic elements required of museum exhibitions. MurphyCatton works with designers to provide custom exhibit fabrication and turnkey design/build solutions. Since the inception of MurphyCatton, Mike and Mark have instilled a strong belief in Quality, Collaboration and Innovation. Quality: At MurphyCatton, we believe that quality is not an accident but the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution. We set high standards, develop a clear plan of action and execute the steps and controls necessary to achieve quality results. Collaboration: In our increasingly integrated world, communication is vital to success. MurphyCatton develops open lines of communication with our clients and partners to facilitate the free flow of ideas, leading to collaborative solutions. Innovation: The status quo is never good enough. We understand that in order to excite visitors, our clients must differentiate themselves from the competition. At MurphyCatton, we brave new ground daily by creating exhibits that go beyond the ordinary and exceed expectations. |
