Mechanical/Electrical/Pneumatic Interactives * We excel in the engineering and fabrication of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic interactives. Over a decade of focused experience in fabricating interactives has taught us valuable lessons on their requirements for making them a successful, durable, safe and engaging exhibit piece.
Environmental Graphics * MurphyCatton has created inspirational environments for some of the leading corporations around the country. We have experience in fabricating quality graphics whether they are part of a larger museum exhibition or to enhance the environment of corporate spaces.
Dimensional Branding * Working with some of the most recognized brands in the world, MurphyCatton has turned many two-dimensional branded designs into a three-dimensional iconic element. We call it Dimensionalizing the Brand.
Preservation Casework * Our staff is experienced in engineering and fabricating preservation casework with the knowledge to identify the level of conservation required for various artifacts. The MurphyCatton staff will handle any artifacts with complete care and ensure a seal of protection with our cases.
Artifact Mounting * In addition to our knowledgeable background in preservation casework, we offer expertise in proper mounting of artifact collections. We know that different mounting techniques can be applied to artifacts depending on the delicacy level needed. Our staff will work with you to identify those unique requirements and create a mount that will successfully secure the artifact and creatively accentuate its characteristics.
Museum Quality Acrylic Vitrines * For over a decade, MurphyCatton has fabricated the highest quality acrylic vitrines with PS-30 welded seams, allowing the spectator an unobstructed view from any angle.
Custom Cabinetry & Woodworking * Since our inception in 1983, MurphyCatton has perfected the art of custom woodworking and has even been featured on the cover of Wood & Wood Products Magazine where we are referred to as "industry trendsetters" in their January 2008 issue. Quality craftsmanship is engrained in our culture.
Metal Fabrication * From sixteen foot tall metal sculptures to mechanical interactives and custom casework, MurphyCatton's metal shop has experience working with a variety of metals to withstand in both indoor and outdoor environments.
2D & 3D Theming * The artisans and sculptors at MurphyCatton have been adding color and bringing life to exhibits and environments for close to 3 decades. We have the ability to incorporate basic to three-dimensional wall murals or large themed structures into almost any setting. Adding a splash of excitement to any type of space is our specialty, whether you need a little spiffing-up or a full-blown themed area, we've got the necessary skills and experience to help rev-up your environment. |
