The Green Room, Lutheran General HospitalThe Green Room at the Lutheran General Hospital tells the story of the hospital's new wing, dedicated to patients and energy efficiency. Fabricated by MurphyCatton, this immersive environment allows visitors and patients to understand the conversation and renewable techniques incorporated in the construction and operations of the LEED certified facility. One of the interactives depicts the different ways in which rainwater runoff is collected, absorbed in the pavement and filtered through plants before reaching the city storm sewers. By utilizing kinetic interactives, audio/visual components and a unique presentation of grpahics, MurphyCatton helped the Lutheran General Hospital answer the question: Why Green?
